One is by Romana Milutin Fabris, while the most talked about is a 1970’s mural by the late Milovan Stanić. The exposed wooden stairs transport you to three beautiful, airy bedrooms, all with original wood floors and timber ceiling-beams. The white-walled master bedroom has an elegant four-
posted bed and separate bathrooms – one with a vintage self-standing bath – offering magical views over Lokrum Island. A classic Mediterranean summer house on the outside, the interior of Villa Agave is one of a kind. Countless rare pieces adorn the space, from a rocking-horse chair to a beautiful 100-year-old floral rug. The enchanting overall effect is one of being in a worldly friend’s home.
